Lenox: Library to host annual Spring Tonic event
The Lenox Library welcomes spring and celebrates all things locally grown with its third-annual Spring Tonic from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.
The event will begin with landscape designer Scott Harrington speaking on "Edible Landscapes." The library will then become an indoor farmers market, offering everything from CSA shares of the season’s harvest to free samples of homegrown fare.
Visitors will have the chance to speak to farmers about what they grow, and get tips for growing their own gardens. Tri-Town Health will offer free blood pressure checks, and the Lenox Environmental Committee will be selling composters at a discount. Free music will grace the main reading room.
New this year will be children’s activities in the Youth room. The popular baby chicks will be back, courtesy of Solid Rock Farm.
This event is free. Information: Library at (413) 637-2630 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
