Tuesday December 4, 2012

Lenox Playspace is hosting children’s singing classes to culminate in a multicultural, non-denominational holiday concert featuring piano music, storytelling, holiday classics and world music. All children are welcome to join.

Jazz vocalist Bronte Esther Roman will lead a six week class in performance skills, singing and stage presence for children ages 2 to 12 years old. In each 45 minute class, children will learn holiday songs from around the world.

Classes will be held at 55 Main St. from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18; Thursdays, Dec. 6 and 13, and Thursday, Dec. 20, a dress rehearsal performance at Kimball Farms nursing home.

The holiday concert will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 55 Main St. Tickets cost $10. A cookie reception will follow at the preschool.

The six classes cost $60.
