Lenox: Public schools offer preschool screening

The Lenox Public Schools offer preschool screening for 3 and 4-year-old children who will not be entering kindergarten in September.

The purpose of the screening is to identify children who may have substantial needs in speech/language, cognitive, emotional/social, or physical development.

An orientation meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Morris Elementary School. Parents will meet the screening team and receive an overview of the screening process and the integrated preschool program at Morris School.

Screening will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Wednesday, March 25 and 26, at Morris School. Appointments are required through the Student Services Office at (413) 637-5571.
