The Lenox Public Schools offer preschool screening for 3 and 4-year-old children who will not be entering kindergarten in September 2013.

The purpose of the screening is to identify children who may have substantial needs in speech/language, cognitive, emotional/social, or physical development.

Screening will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26 and 27, at Morris School. Appointments are required and can be made through the Student Services Office at (413) 637-5571 beginning March 4.

An orientation meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Morris Elementary School.

The orientation will provide parents with an opportunity to meet the screening team who will give an overview of the screening process and the integrated preschool program at Morris Elementary School.
