Lenox: The Mount hosts CATA poetry reading
Community Access to the Arts presents its annual poetry reading, a celebration of CATA's writers, at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at The Mount, 2 Plunkett St.
Writer/performer Rachel Siegel will read selected excerpts from the CATA Writers' Workshop — funny, poignant and reflecting the unique perspectives of writers with disabilities. The reading takes place against an exhibit of black and white portraits of CATA writers by photographer Julie McCarthy.
Reservations are required for this free event by calling CATA's office at 413-528-5485. The exhibit will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Sept. 16, with the exception of Sept. 9-11.
