Letter: Biergarten was left out of story
To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Dear Mr. John Seven. I read your article in a June edition of the Berkshire Eagle entitled "Local eateries offer patio seating." While I enjoyed the article, I noticed you missed one restaurant in Adams, the Haflinger Haus.
Once the property of the Noble family, this turn-of-the century mansion has been transformed into an award-winning Austrian and American restaurant, tavern and inn, for two years running. There is a beautiful fireplaced dining room, a casual tavern and an outdoor Biergarten where you can catch a glimpse of our vegetable and herb garden. There are also six guest rooms located upstairs.
As a lifelong Adams resident with three generations living in town, I invite you to come visit our Biergarten and enjoy our delicious Austrian cuisine and atmosphere.
The writer is owner of the Haflinger Haus.
