Letter: Citizens can vote, not everyone, everything

Citizens can vote, not everyone, everything

To the editor

The Friday, Jan. 1 editorial from the Los Angeles Daily News that ran in The Eagle defended "one person, one vote." The 14th Amendment spirit, not letter, surely, meant citizens. Those under 18 are under their parents dominion.

Unless, that is, you wish to include fetuses and some consider their pets their children. Let's have dogs and cats vote along with illegal aliens and also fetuses!

Oh you don't like that one? The Berkshire Eagle opinion page is outrageous and almost comedic.
