Letter: Core character traits are not readily changed
Core character traits not readily changed
To the editor:
In my 40-year professional career, I have probably interviewed well over 100 job candidates and hired perhaps 20 percent. Never did I remotely consider hiring a candidate who acted boorish, racist and crude, and who was not truthful about past behavior and accomplishments besides being totally egocentric during the interview. Not even if he or she was stating that upon being offered the job, they would change their demeanor, hire the absolute smartest and best advisors, and deliver the world's best results.
Chameleons may be able to change their color to match their surroundings, but I have found few humans who can change their true character and values that easily. Trump voters, beware.
