Letter: Deny gun privilege to our immature nation

Deny gun privilege to immature nation

To the editor:

The recent shootings in this country bring up the issue of gun control. I believe that if we as Americans are not mature enough to use guns responsibly, the privilege should be taken away.

Guns should not be sold indiscriminately to citizens of the United States until people can learn to be non violent and proactive citizens of humanity. The only people who should have guns in their hands are the police, and perhaps if guns are needed for recreational use they can be rented out on an hourly basis on hunting grounds so people can enjoy their hobbies without having the responsibility of owning a gun.

The privilege of having guns should be denied until perfectly adult US citizens will stop denying innocent human beings of the privilege of growing old. That is a right that is all too often denied to many.
