Letter: End the blame game, work for the better

End the blame game, work for the better

To the editor:

The Eagle editorial the day after the election seemed to be blaming our current mayor for blaming others. What's the point? Mayor Bianchi did the best he knew how to do. Let's all be grateful for the good that was done.

Linda Tyer brings a different set of skills to build on the work done or left undone by all the mayors who came before her. Can we stop the blame game now?

"A pointed finger is a victim's logo... The moment you place blame somewhere, you undermine your resolve to change anything." — Joseph Brodsky, Nobel Prize winner

May we each and all resolve to change things for the better.
