Letter: Fired gas station employees a loss for Pittsfield
Fired station employees a loss for Pittsfield
To the editor:
I was saddened to read of the employees of the Elm Street service Station in Pittsfield being terminated by the new owner ("Employees fired upon sale of Elm Street gas station," Eagle, June 23).
I patronize that service station every week and I always found the employees to be of the finest caliber. They were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and accommodating, and always went above and beyond their duties. This is such a loss for the area.
