Letter: Follow law when signals go dark
To the editor of THE EAGLE:
Drivers should keep in mind the rule regarding blacked out traffic signals per the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. If signals are blacked out and not functioning, be cautious and proceed as though there is a stop sign in all directions. Treat a non-functioning traffic light intersection as you would a four-way stop.
It is that simple.
