Letter: Great pyramid of south Pittsfield

To the editor of THE EAGLE:

Berkshire Place Egypt has the "Pyramids at Giza" and now Pittsfield has the newly recreated "Berkshire Place" rising like a phoenix from the desert sands. It totally consumes the southern entrance to the city like the golden sphinx on the Sahara.

I assume the ladies who will inhabit this structure will be referred to as goddesses, such as Cleopatra, Nefertiti, Isis, Hatshepsut and so on. I’m wondering if the completed design calls for a "golden capstone" at its apex!
