Letter: Help from angels on frigid night
To the editor of THE EAGLE:
On Wednesday evening while attending a function in Pittsfield, my car started acting up. Not having a clue as to what was wrong, I asked two gentlemen at this function if they knew anything about cars.
Immediately they took charge. They tried everything to get my car going. All this in the freezing, bitter cold. They worked and worked and insisted that I go inside to keep warm. Eventually they got the car started and I was happily on my way home.
I do not know the names of these men, but they live at Soldier On. I would publicly like to thank them for helping a stranger in need. They are truly angels.
