Letter: If photo, story offend, turn the page

If photo offends, turn the page

To the editor:

Concerning the March 2 letter from Michael Castegnaro ("Photo offensive to vegetarians,") if The Berkshire Eagle left out everything that was offensive to anyone the paper would cease to exist. Even good news stories would offend someone.

If you don't like an article, don't read it. The same with a picture. Look away. Both are very simple things.

It's sad, but too many people in this world want to tell the others how they should act, believe and life, especially if it is not the way they think it should be.

Peter Martin, Pittsfield
