In Dalton, an accident is waiting to happen
To the editor:
A week ago, I was driving my car in the right-hand lane by Craneville Nursing Home in Dalton when a large, black SUV traveling in the left lane decided to pull in front of me because he realized he didn't want to make a left-hand turn.
He then swerved into my lane, I honked my horn, and he went back into the left lane. As I was going up the hill by the cemetery he sped up and cut me off.
I believe the town of Dalton needs to change the sign there to read left lane for left turn only. This isn't the first time this has happened. This is a dangerous place and before there's another incident there, this should be taken into consideration.
