Letter: Information needed on building plan
Information needed on building plan
To the editor:
What is being planned for 100 Bridge St. in Great Barrington?
Are plans to build a four story affordable housing unit, snugly situated next to the sewage treatment plant, actually about to sail through our town boards? Have the toxins really been remediated enough for capping?
Although I know the Zoning Board of Appeals, which meets on July 26 at 7 p.m., has the final word, both the Planning Board (which meets July 14 at 7 p.m.) and the Select Board have only advisory duties. So, as you gotta start somewhere, and time is of the essence, I, for one, am planning to attend the Select Board meeting on Monday, July 11, at 7 p.m. to ask, at least, just where those fellas are on this.
Hope others will come too.
