Letter: Lawsuit demands vote on Taconic High project
Lawsuit demands vote on Taconic High project
To the editor:
Due to a breach of contract and lack of fiduciary responsibility to me and other taxpayers of Pittsfield, and for denying me and other taxpayers a vote on the new Taconic High School project, I am filing suit in Berkshire Superior Court against the city of Pittsfield asking that the Taconic project be halted until said suit is fully adjudicated in the courts.
This project will have serious financial consequences for me and many other Pittsfield taxpayers. Because we don't know how the majority of the city's taxpayers and electorate feel about this project, no further work of any sort connected to this project should occur.
The residents of this city must be given a say as to whether they approve of this project. It should proceed only if residents have been given a vote and if they vote in the affirmative.
