Letter: Loss of Project Native is a severe blow
Loss of Project Native is a severe blow
To the editor:
I went to Project Native several times last summer and I was in awe of the beauty I encountered. I saw a monarch butterfly for the first time in years. Monarch butterflies need milkweed plant and we have encroached on their territory.
I am confused by this poor decision not to give Project Native to Helia Land Design. (Eagle, July 16.) Shouldn't we be preserving wildlife? Project Native is a treasure. How would people feel if the Rockwell Museum was removed and cattle were grazing there?
