Letter: Many contributed to successful fund-raiser

Many contributed to successful fund-raiser

To the editor:

On March 24, the Berkshire Benevolent Association for the Blind had a wonderful fund-raiser to purchase equipment to make their lives more independent and enjoyable. We thank the ITAM for the use of its lodge. Many good sports wore blindfolds to eat their delicious pasta and meatballs cooked by our great friends at UNICO. Thank you to all of our sponsors, who are too numerous to name.

People sang and danced to the music of the Chandler Brothers Band. We appreciate the help of volunteers from the Wal-Mart Vision Center. Thank you to Steve and Herb at the door and our vice president, Alisha Starja. And last but not least, we want to thank all the people who attended our function. It made our event a huge success.
