Letter: Meaning of Christmas should not be lost

Meaning of Christmas should not be lost

To the editor:

I would like to thank Kathy Withers for her Dec. 1 letter "Christians must counter war on Christmas." What a blessing.

I would like to add that we need to keep Christ Jesus in Christmas. With all of the rushing and running we forget why we celebrate and whom Christmas is truly about. It truly is not about Santa Claus, presents or family gatherings.

The only one who can give us true joy and peace within is Lord Jesus and the only way is to repent and ask Him into our hearts and lives.

It's our choice. Remember the true meaning of Christmas. Receiving is transforming power and love into your life. Remember Christ the Lord.
