Natural gas group is shill for industry

To the editor:

The Ratepayers' Association appears to be a front group for the gas industry and is not a group of citizens interested in lowering electrical rates (Marc Brown, Eagle op-ed, "Region needs more natural gas," Nov. 11.)

They are a shadowy group that refuses to reveal its funding sources and is run by a former tea party member who makes it his business to oppose pretty much every renewable energy plan that comes along.

In the links below, you will find more information about this group and their actual agenda. During a controversy such as we have with the pipeline, adding more misinformed fuel to this fire only confuses people.
