Letter: Nature's many wonders ease contemporary fears

Nature's many wonders ease contemporary fears

To the editor:

The Bible says that the personality of God is made manifest in nature. For example, the trees are the strength, grace, beauty and serenity of God. The rivers and brooks are like His voice, because the Bible says, "His voice is like a thousand waters." The Bible also says, "His face shines like the sun in its full strength," and it says, "Return to the Rock from which you were hewn" — "the Rock" meaning God.

When our nerves get raw over all the reports about terrorism, it is comforting to think of the things of nature, which represent the personality of God.
