Letter: Perplexing choice for DCF leader
To the editor of THE EAGLE:
With all the terrible things occurring at the Department of Children and Families (DCF) it appalls me that our governor would appoint a Dept. of Motor Vehicles lawyer to head a department in need of a complete overhaul. I would think a doctor of psychology might be a better choice. Of course, I would hope the person would not be a political friend.
I am surprised that we haven’t read more about DCF’s treatment in the Justina Pelletier case. Gov. Patrick better prepare himself for a huge lawsuit when this case is over. Don’t be surprised if Alan Derschowitz becomes involved.
