Letter: Pitch in to help Holocaust museum

To the editor of THE EAGLE:

Thankfully, Jerry Klinger and his organization, the Jewish American Society for Historic Preservation (JASHP), have given The New England Holocaust Institute and Museum in North Adams a grant to keep the museum open for another six months. But, what will happen next?

We have a Berkshire cultural gem that deserves our attention and preservation. We must never forget the Holocaust and this museum, which has the fifth largest Holocaust collection in the United States, must stay viable.

We urge everyone to make a donation, large or small, to keep this museum open. For information on tax deductible donations, contact the JASHP at 16405 Equestrian Lane Derwood, MD 20855. The JASHP mantra: "Shaping the Future by Remembering the Past" is important for all humanity.
