Letter: Plan to attend reopening of Stockbridge Library

Plan to attend reopening of Stockbridge Library

To the editor:

The renovation of the Stockbridge Library Museum & Archives at 46 Main Street is finally completed. Everyone is invited to celebrate the reopening from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, April 30!

Starting with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., festive activities include a scavenger hunt for kids and adults, face painting, children's crafts, a story hour, music by the Berkshire Brass Quintet, Quintessentials, and the Berkshire Ukulele Band, as well as theatrical games and activities with a literary twist presented by Jenny Jadow of Shakespeare & Company.

Tour the spectacular renovated building, frolic in bubbles, create with sidewalk chalk, and enjoy some cake — a very special cake not to be missed. Take home a helium balloon made for this joyous occasion.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so don't miss it!
