Letter: Polar bears need our assistance

Posted

To the editor of THE EAGLE:

There is a serious problem in the Arctic. There is not enough ice for the polar bears to rest and hunt on. They need to eat seals. If they don’t, they will have to find different food. The cubs need food too. They have to be taken care of. The earth is getting a lot warmer. All the ice will melt. Global warming is ruining their habitat.

We need to recycle, use less electricity and use less fuel. Polar bears are doomed if we don’t help them. They risk becoming extinct.
