Letter: Return Ouellette to Adams board

To the editor of THE EAGLE:

The Adams town election is Monday, May 5, and unfortunately we don’t have an abundance of candidates for some offices. However, Mike Ouellette is a candidate for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. Mike is an engineer by training and experience which helps his analysis of the problems facing the town. His experience as a subdivision developer in Adams and Lanesborough as well as his position on the Metropolitan Planning Commission and the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority contribute to his understanding of the problems Berkshire towns face.

One of Mike’s most important qualities is his independence. He questions most of the plans and actions proposed by the board and votes to ensure the board’s actions are in the long-term interests of Adams. Mike is a fiscal conservative but he is liberal in providing necessary services to the people of Adams, including quality schools for the next generation.
