Letter: St. Joseph's boys' soccer wins on many levels

St. Joe boys' soccer wins on many levels

To the editor:

I am a parent of a senior student at St. Joseph's Central High School. I am writing this letter as a thank you to our 2015 boys' soccer coach and players.

I would like to recognize Coach Juan Ramos for his support this year with the boys' soccer team. He taught them that it is not just what is listed in the "W" column (although ours was pretty good this year) but it is how you carry yourselves on and off the field, how you respect another teammate, your coaches and how you never give up. Coach Ramos taught these boys that if you play as a team you sometimes can go a lot further than you ever expected.

If you attend St. Joe High you have the opportunity to play a varsity sport full-time and gain a ton of experience on the field. Coach deserves a lot of kudos for taking these boys where they went this year.

Thank you for believing in these kids! Boys, thank you for some great memories, move forward and be proud. We sure are!

Be careful counting out the "Crusader Family." We may just surprise you.

Donna Hanson, Pittsfield
