Letter: Talk by Owens was witty, informative
Talk by Owens was witty, informative
To the editor:
Carole Owens' talk on her new book "Remarkable Women of New England — The War Years 1754–1787" on Saturday, April 9 in Stockbridge was delightful, witty and informative. Carole is a gifted storyteller. The audience of over 100 clearly enjoyed the experience.
If anyone has the chance to attend any additional talks by Carole, please do not pass up the opportunity. You will not be disappointed. Thanks to the Stockbridge Library and the Bidwell House Museum for making this afternoon talk possible.
Jim and Cathy Daily, Stockbridge
