Letter: 'The Immigrant' lyrics remain timely today
'The Immigrant' lyrics remain timely today
To the editor:
I recently was playing a Neil Sedaka CD while driving my car and came across a song he co-wrote with Phil Cody back in 1975. The song "The Immigrant" was dedicated to John Lennon and the immigration problems that he faced in the 1970s.
With immigration a major issue in this election year, everyone should listen carefully to the lyrics. It has given me yet another reason not to vote for Donald Trump for president in November.
