Letter: Vote 'Yes' for students of Lanesborough, Williamstown

Vote 'Yes' for students in Greylock community

To the editor:

It is time to end the divisive, negative, angry rhetoric regarding building a new Mt. Greylock high school and focus on the most important issue — the students of Lanesborough, Williamstown and surrounding communities.

Our children deserve a safe, modern, aesthetic educational facility - one which they can be proud of and where the learning environment is conducive to aspiring to be the best they can be.

We all benefited from the educational legacy our parents gave us in the way of schools and facilities. It is our turn to provide the same for future generations of Williamstown and Lanesborough students. They will remember that we wanted the best for them.

Vote YES on March 1 in Williamstown and March 15 in Lanesborough.

Martha and David Elpern, Williamstown
