Letter: Vote 'yes' in Peru on wind bylaw

To the editor of THE EAGLE:

It's so very important that the voters in the town of Peru come out on Saturday at 7 p.m. to participate in the Annual Town Meeting. These meetings are the heart of small towns across New England and America. Our communities thrive or suffer from how issues are managed so everyone's participation is important.

At this year's meeting, a change in the wind energy bylaw will be voted on. Voting "yes" will allow residents to benefit from their own renewable source, green wind energy. Voting "yes" will ensure that the future of Peru remains idyllic as it's been and a wonderful place to live, raise families and enjoy.

This year, Peru needs your participation for its future. Please make plans to attend and vote "yes."
