Letter: Waiting for Trump to deliver punch line
Waiting for Trump to deliver punch line
To the editor:
I wait, in anticipation and glee, for the day when Donald Trump walks into a jam-packed stadium, "make America Great" hat stuffed under his armpit and a microphone in his hand, and says to the crowd, "Thank you all so much, but actually this was all just a big joke. I really just wanted to see how far I could take it, I wanted to see how much I could get away with. Basically, I wanted to see just how gullible you people are."
Then, like Richard Pryor in "Brewster's Millions," he would say how he never really wanted to be president of the United States of America and that you all should just vote for whoever you think best.
I mean, honestly, what are you people thinking?
