Letter: Winter concert again a holiday high point

Winter concert again a holiday high point

To the editor:

A more than enthusiastic and appreciative thank you to the West Stockbridge Chamber Players for their gorgeous winter concert on Dec. 30 in the acoustically outstanding West Stockbridge Congregational Church. It's always exciting with the weather possibilities — cold. foggy and maybe even snowy.

The wonderful musicians — Catherine Hudgins, clarinet, Daniel Getz, viola, William Rounds, cello, Vytas Baksys, pianist, Jane Ryan, page turner — performed Schubert, Mozart and Brahms.

This concert has been for many years the high point of the holidays for me. How about another winter concert in mid-February in the church, which accommodates a piano and is heated.

Nancy Nirenberg, Lenox
