Light snow could land later today
PITTSFIELD-- Light snowfall is expected to arrive in the Berkshires in the late afternoon today or early evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are predicting one to two inches of accumulation overnight. The snow will end before sunrise, National Weather Service meteorologist Evan Heller said.
"It should be a light snow," Heller said. "We are not expecting a heavy precipitation." Heller said the snowfall should be about the same for most of the region.
