Man gets 14 years for bank robberies in NH, Mass.
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to committing three bank robberies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Ryan Patrick Lane of Charlestown, Mass., robbed the TD Bank in Hampton, N.H., the Rockland Trust Bank in Hingham, Mass., and the Braintree Cooperative Bank in Quincy, Mass. The robberies happened in March and April.
Prosecutors say in each instance, Lane handed a teller a note demanding money. In the Hampton robbery, he threatened to kill the teller if she pushed any alarms.
