Man wounded in shooting at MBTA station in Boston


BOSTON (AP) -- Authorities say a 23-year-old man has been shot at a transit station in Boston.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority police say the man was shot Monday night at the Stony Brook MBTA station.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not immediately release his name.

They say it happened near the entrance to the station.

Details of the incident remain unclear.

Transit police continue to investigate.
