Marshall’s Big Block Modifieds win his first of season at Lebanon Valley Speedway


WEST LEBANON, N.Y. -- Eddie Marshall took control from the start to earn his first victory of the season in the Big Block Modifieds division to highlight Saturday night’s stock car racing action at Lebanon Valley Speedway.

Marshall was shadowed for all 30 laps at the Valley of Speed by Kenny Tremont Jr., but held strong all to take the checkered flag.

In another wire-to-wire performance, Jason Herrington captured the 20-lap Small Block Modifieds feature over Olden Dwyer.

In the 20-lap Budget Sportsman Race that included a few caution flags and restarts, Alan Houghtaling took the lead on lap 14 and held on for the victory.

In the other divisions on Saturday’s card, Frank Twing prevailed in the fully fendered Pro Stocks race, Dan Cote took the Purestock 1 race, Scott Morris won in Purestock 2 and Lou Ganzer scored the victory in Purestock 3.

This Saturday night’s card will feature the return of the ESS WInged 360 Sprint Car Series presented by Alarms of Berkshire County. Also scheduled is the special Bubba Tanner 23-lep Pro Stock Classic presented by DMC Racing Produts.

Then, on Tuesday, the "Eve of Destruction" will return with a full night of destructive action that will included a Roll Over Contest, Trailor Race, Reverse Racing and the crowd-favorite School Bus Races.
