FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) -- Massachusetts state police say a 48-year-old woman has been arrested after striking a police cruiser in Fall River and continuing to drive past the vehicle until she was stopped by another trooper down the road.
Police say the incident occurred shortly after 3:37 a.m. Saturday. Troopers were on a road detail protecting a highway crew on Route 195 West, near the Plymouth Exit.
Police say the trooper whose cruiser was struck reported leg pain but said he would seek medical help on his own.
