Massachusetts teacher facing rape charges
WEBSTER (AP) -- A music teacher at a central Massachusetts high school faces charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.
The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/1rmdSEl ) reports that Jeffrey Flynn of Palmer pleaded not guilty Thursday to three counts of statutory rape and was held on $10,000 bail.
Authorities allege that the 40-year-old Flynn had a sexual relationship with a high school age student at Bartlett Junior Senior High School, which is in Webster.
Police say another teacher noticed that Flynn spent a lot of time with the student, and brought the matter to the administration’s attention.
Police say the girl admitted to the relationship.
Flynn is scheduled back in court next month.
