Greylock wrestlers to semis

ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. -- Mount Greylock placed four wrestlers in today's championship semifinal round during the first day of the Baker Classic tournament.

Johnny Colon (170), Travis Hilchey (132) and David O'Brien (160) advanced in the championship bracket.

"They were moving quite well," Mount Greylock assistant coach John Carvalho said. "They were in full control of their matches today. They used proper hand control and all their movements."

Corey Hartley (126), C.J. Lillie (145), Roy Malone (120), Maurice Nemtzow (182), Devin Pelletier (138) and Jude Rorke (106) are still alive in the consolation bracket today.

"We're looking for them to come out tough ... and keep their heads up," Carvalho said. "It's a long day. A two-day tournament is long for these kids. They just have to battle back."
