Motorcyclist dies in crash during New Hampshire's Bike Week


LACONIA, N.H. (AP) - Police say a motorcyclist has died after a crash overnight in Laconia.

WMUR-TV reports the crash occurred just before 1:30 a.m. on Lakeside Avenue. Police say the bike left the west side of the road and crashed.

The rider, 24-year-old David Czarnota of North Reading, Mass., was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The crash comes near the end of the state's Bike Week, a celebration of motorcycling that attracts thousands of riders from around the country.
