New Ashford: CPR/First Aid program set for Sept. 29

New Ashford Volunteer Fire Department will present an interactive program of basic First Aid and hands-only CPR from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the New Ashford Firehouse.

The program is open to residents of New Ashford. Participants will learn what to do in a home emergency until more help arrives. No medical background is necessary. The cost is $10 for instruction, hands-on practice and educational material.

Hedy Lipez, MSN, CS, a certified Red Cross CPR instructor will lead the course assisted by Diane George BSN, RN. Both are members of New Ashford Volunteer Fire Department.
