New Lebanon, N.Y.: Darrow School to perform fall musical

Thursday November 8, 2012

The Darrow Theater Workshop will presents its fall musical, "There’s No Place Like Home," an original production based on L. Frank Baum’s "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. Both performances are free and open to the public.

The musical is a modernized version of the classic story.

Student-designed-and-created sets, costumes, lighting, and sound reflect the modern interpretation.

The production will be accompanied by Theodicy Jazz Collective, founded and directed by Darrow Music Program Director Andrew Barnett.

Darrow School is located at the historic Mount Lebanon Shaker Village on the New York-Massachusetts state line. Information:
