New Lebanon, N.Y.: Musician to lead Irish tinwhistle workshop

Folk musician Aubrey Atwater will teach a workshop in the Irish tinwhistle at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the New Lebanon Library, 550 State Route 20.

Atwater will teach a few simple Irish dance tunes and give tips that she learned from her tinwhistle mentor, Phil Edmonds.

Bring a tinwhistle or purchase one for $10.

This free workshop is appropriate for school-aged children, teens and adults. Donations for the presenter are appreciated.
