No contested races in Clarksburg elections


CLARKSBURG — Residents will vote on Tuesday in a slate of uncontested races, including for town clerk and a Select Board seat.

Polls will be open from noon to 7 p.m. today at the Clarksburg Senior Center.

Town Clerk Carol Jammalo is seeking to retain her position for an additional three years, while William Schrade is the lone candidate for a three-year seat on the Board of Selectmen.

Bryan Tanner is running unopposed for a one-year stint as the town moderator, while Patricia Denault is asking voters for three years on the library's board of trustees.

Richard Bernardi hopes to be the town's next representative on the Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional School District's School Committee, while Patricia Prenguber is running unopposed for three years on the town's School Committee.

Ernest Dix is on the ballot for tree warden, Edward Denault is asking for three years as a war memorial trustee, and Thomas Jammalo is looking to win five years on the Planning Board.
