North Adams: Book mobile to bring free books to children


The Family Resource Center of Northern Berkshire County has teamed up with Greylock Federal Credit Union to bring free books to North Berkshire children via the FRC Book Mobile.

In addition to books, the Book Mobile will also have a limited amount of free Brain Building kits including a cloth bag, scissors, crayons, a key chain library card holder, and more.

The Book Mobile schedule follows:

n Monday, July 14, at 10 a.m. at Hancock Elementary School and 11 a.m. at New Ashford Town Hall.

n Wednesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at Clarksburg Elementary School and 11 a.m. outside the community center at the Greylock Apartment Complex, North Adams.

n Thursday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Monroe Town Hall and noon at Gabriel Abbott Memorial School, Florida.

n Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at Cheshire Elementary School, 11 a.m. at CT Plunkett Elementary School, Adams, and noon at Emma L. Miller School, Savoy.
