North Adams: Dinner to benefit young cancer patient

A benefit pasta dinner to support 2-year-old Colten Downey will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, at the Bounti-Fare Restaurant.

Colten is suffering from a rare form of kidney cancer and is receiving treatments in Boston. All proceeds from the event will be used to help defray costs related to his treatment.

Tickets in advance are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors or children younger than 12. Tickets are available at Val’s Variety Store, Columbia Street, Adams, and Box Car Media, Main St., North Adams. Tickets are $12 at the door.

In addition to the pasta dinner, there will be dozens of raffles for gift baskets, a Chinese auction and a 50/50.
