The Drury Drama Team invites North Adams public school students, grades 2 to 12, to audition for singing, dancing, and acting roles in its November production of "The Wizard of Oz" on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 3:30 p.m., in the Drury auditorium.

In addition to Drury, students in grades 2 and over who attend the following elementary schools may audition: Brayton, Clarksburg, Greylock, Gabriel Abbott, Savoy, Sullivan, Stamford, Monroe; as well as homeschoolers who reside in North Adams.

Those selected to join the cast will also be invited to march with the leads in the Fall Foliage Parade.

Cast members will be charged a $20 costume rental fee. No student will be rejected on the basis of inability to pay.

Performances are scheduled for Nov. 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 at Drury. Tickets and T-shirts may be ordered in advance, including at the audition.
